Full Amnio Results.

I called today to check if the full amniocentesis results had come in and sure enough, they had. Mary Grace does have full triploidy, 69,XXX. Which means that she has 69 chromosomes in every cell in her body. Two "X's" meaning "girl" and the extra "X" means she has an extra set of chromosomes.

This is a very informative website that can help you to understand triploidy: http://www.healthline.com/galecontent/triploidy

There really wasn't much more to report. My next appointment is with the UNC Specialty Clinic next Thursday, February 26th. We will do another ultrasound then to check her growth and to see what all her problem spots look like. Hopefully her heart will be in good shape...please pray for a perfectly formed and working heart between now and next Thursday. Rob and I are taking the news really well; since we had already gotten the preliminary results last Wednesday, it wasn't a shock to us that the full test results would be confirmation of triploidy.

"The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." Isaiah 41:29-31

Hi Angela - Dawn from TWW (kdsrdms)... I have not stopped praying for you. You have been on my mind every single day.

I am in awe of your faith in God. What a mighty, awesome, faithful, wonderful, all-powerful Father we serve! I know I said it before, but what an amazing woman God hand-picked to be Mary Grace's mommy.

I BELIEVE in miracles and won't stop praying!!!

Dear Angela, I continue to pray for you often; you and your sweet family are always on my heart, and I have shared your story with two separate groups at my church so that others can pray for you and little Mary Grace too. Your courage and your faith is absolutely amazing!
". . . Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame will not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. . . Because you are precious in my sight, and honored, and I love you . . ." Is. 43:1-4 and Is. 54:10: "For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed, says the Lord, who has compassion on you." (I continue to pray for sweet Isabel too -- so moving to read what you have said about her comments and prayer) Pam S

I have no doubt Mary Grace is being lifted up constantly. I'll do the same. I pray for strength for you and your family, for wisdom, for peace... I look forward to hearing more from you. Please be encouraged - you're developing quite a testimony with all this! You are sure to encourage others with your story! -Tiffany

I am still praying that God will work a miracle in little Mary Grace. Above all, I pray that He will hold you close and comfort and strengthen you in ways that you never thought possible.
